An EV charger belongs where the car already parks: in the villa garage, on the driveway, or in the bays your staff and visitors use every day. We install it as a separate service: on its own, alongside a solar system, or under a solar carport.

For homes

A wall charger in the garage or on the driveway, so the car charges where it sleeps.

  • You can have it on its own, or add it with a new solar system.
  • It goes on a wall you already have, or on a post under a solar carport.
  • We wire it to your solar system where you have one, and to your normal supply where you don't.

For businesses

Charging becomes part of the car park, for the people who use it every day:

  • Staff and visitor parking

    We put chargers in the bays at offices, schools, retail and community car parks.

  • Fleets

    We fit chargers at the depot for electric vans and cars.

  • Under a carport

    A solar carport over the bays shades the cars and powers the building, and the chargers are added as their own line.

Charging from your own sun

EV charging pairs naturally with solar. With a solar system or a solar carport, the charger draws on your own daytime solar while the sun is up, and on the grid when it isn't. Without solar, it runs from your normal supply, and a solar system can be added later.

When the car is parked, and what charges it

At a business

Parked through the working day, typically around 8 am to 5 pm. The charger draws on your own daytime solar while the sun is up.

At home

Charges where it sleeps, mostly after sunset. The grid when the sun isn't up; your own solar on days the car is home.

  • Daylight
  • Parked in daylight: your solar
  • Parked after dark: the grid

Without solar, the charger runs from your normal supply, and a solar system can be added later.

With or without a carport

A charger needs a wall or a post, not a canopy. Where a solar carport fits, the canopy shades the cars and powers the building, and the charger sits under it. If you're building a carport now, add the charger at build, or run the conduit now and add the charger later.

What an EV charger installation costs

Every installation is quoted per site: the number of chargers, where they go and the wiring that reaches them set the price, and your proposal lists the charging as its own line. Your fixed price comes in your proposal, after your site survey.
